Freedom Holding Corp. Publishes Sustainability Report for Fiscal Year 2026

Almaty, Kazakhstan, 29 September, 2026 — Freedom Holding Corp. has published its Sustainability Report for fiscal year 2026. The report was prepared in accordance with international reporting standards and the principles of the United Nations Global Compact. For the third consecutive year, selected disclosures in the report have undergone independent external assurance by Deloitte.



The report presents how Freedom Holding Corp. is developing a sustainability management system and integrating ESG principles into its operations and management decision-making. It highlights the Group’s progress in corporate governance, employee development, support for local communities, climate risk management, and environmental initiatives.

KEY RESULTS OF THE 2026 FISCAL YEAR

    The number of employees in the companies included in the reporting scope increased by 26% and exceeded 9,500 people. Average training hours per employee increased to approximately 2.4 times the previous fiscal year’s level. Women accounted for about 48% of the staff. In the reporting year, the Company also launched Freedom Voices: Women, a women’s leadership program.

    The Company continued its annual assessment of climate-related risks and financed emissions. In FY2026, the assessment was expanded to include the loan portfolio, while financed emissions calculations covered applicable asset classes across the investment, loan, and insurance portfolios.

    In May 2025, the Company adopted a Group-wide Whistleblowing Policy applicable across all jurisdictions in which it operates. Confidential reporting channels are available 24/7 and allow concerns to be raised anonymously.

Baglana Musina, Chief Sustainability Officer at Freedom Holding Corp. and President of the Corporate Fund “Freedom Shapagat”, emphasized that one of the main objectives of the sustainable development management system is to achieve tangible improvements in operations and a significant environmental and social impact in the regions where the Freedom Group operates.




Since 2023, Freedom Holding Corp. has been a participant in the UN Global Compact and actively supports collective efforts to advance sustainable development. Its principles are reflected both in Freedom Group’s internal practices and in its approach to engaging with local communities across the regions where it operates.




During the reporting period, Freedom supported more than 80 projects contributing to 11 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The largest number of initiatives focused on education, health and well-being, and sustainable cities and communities.
